Expeditor

Expeditor (Contract Only) System One is working with a local client needing a Contract only 1st Shift Expeditor to move parts. Boxes could be up to 30 lbs. Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments to meet production and shipping schedules. Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and priorities. Assist in compiling and maintaining records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of customer owned parts for repair. Monitor progress and discuss needed changes with department supervisors and personnel. Assist in requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands. Ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with Quality, Inventory, Engineering, and Supply Chain and mitigate any issues. Requirements Previous expeditor, inventory, or similar experience in a production environment. Proficiency in MRP/ERP software, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Teams. Quantum ERP system knowledge preferred. Understanding of process flow for MRO of aviation parts for repair. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends to meet production needs.
