Job Purpose We are looking for a Senior Designer to help shape the creative vision and visual identity of the BBC Select Documentary Streaming Service. This role combines hands-on design, art direction, brand stewardship, and creative leadership. The Senior Designer will partner closely with the Art Directors, outside contractors, marketing and editorial teams to create premium, compelling key art and marketing tactics while establishing systems and workflows that allow the team to work efficiently and foster a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute creative concepts for documentary streaming key art Concept and design brand and title marketing campaigns Build and present concept decks to internal stakeholders Evolve the brand’s visual identity, style guides and design systems Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across DTC streaming creative Oversee and design creative for key streaming touchpoints, including homepage, content rails, collections, landing pages and promotions using audience insights and performance data to inform and improve creative Direct outside agencies and contractors, across multiple projects Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and product teams to ensure marketing creative and product experiences feel cohesive Develop workflows and processes that improve efficiency and creative quality Build automated templates to increase both productivity and quality Work closely with producers on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs Stay current with trends in streaming, entertainment, digital design, technology, and emerging creative tools Help producers scope projects, estimate design effort, and establish timelines and deliverables Knowledge and Experience Experience working on key and entertainment marketing Experience designing key art Strong design and typography skills with excellent visual judgment Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Collaborative, communicative, and positive, with a solutions-oriented mindset Organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Takes ownership, welcomes feedback, and is willing to jump in wherever needed A love of documentaries and/or BBC Content Expert-level Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop Figma and animation experience is a plus Salary Range: $110K base salary + competitive benefits + bonus potential Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
