Qualifications One year of recent experience as an RN in a long‑term care setting Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification ACLS certification preferred Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in English language, reading written instructions, verbal instructions, and PC skills Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move equipment up to 100 lbs, push, pull, bend Interpersonal skills: work effectively with various personnel, maintain a positive attitude and professionalism Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, move during procedures, use equipment Mental requirements: cope with frequent contacts, meet deadlines under pressure, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain concentration to detail Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication Responsibilities Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their well‑being Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the patient care team Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Observe residents for medication reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to the healthcare provider Provide treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practice Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately and ensuring residents receive quality care Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and managing chronic conditions Document care provided, resident progress, and any health changes in a timely manner Respond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams when needed Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards Benefits Highly competitive pay for travel professionals Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with day‑one coverage Paid Time Off (PTO) after 1560 hours Life and short‑term disability offered 401(k) matching Reimbursement for licensure and CEUs 24/7 recruiter support Other Duties Disclaimer To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
