Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician

Join a state-of-the-art laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician. Responsibilities include: Performing and reporting various analyses from multiple specimen sources. Ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Managing specimens, confirming identification, and using proper accessioning procedures. Recognizing and resolving discrepancies on patient orders. Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control. Replenishing reagents and supplies, following reporting protocols. Utilizing multiple computer applications and assisting in training new staff. Participating in educational activities and maintaining current knowledge in the field. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science with appropriate certification or experience. Associate degree in laboratory science with certification for Technician roles. Successful completion of competency exams. Preferred experience: Prior experience in clinical laboratory settings is advantageous.
