Royse City ISD - Multilingual Program Coordinator Description/Notes: To advance academic achievement for Emergent Bilingual students by bridging district initiatives with campus-level implementation. The Multilingual Program Coordinator leads the integration of the one-way dual language model and the ELPS to elevate Tier I instruction, foster bilingualism and biliteracy, and maximize student outcomes. This role collaborates directly with curriculum & instruction, special programs, teachers, and school leaders to sustain a cohesive, high-quality system of curriculum, dual language programming, assessment, and targeted professional earning. Qualifications Education/Certification: Valid Texas Teacher’s Certification Bilingual certification/endorsement Master’s Degree required Special Knowledge / Skills: Bilingual and biliterate proficiency in Spanish and English required. Expertise in second language acquisition, culturally responsive pedagogy, and effective curriculum design. Proven experience implementing and evaluating one-way dual language model, ESL Instructional models, and content based language instruction. Ability to analyze student data to evaluate instructional programs and improve teaching effectiveness. Knowledge of adult learning principles with experience in designing and delivering professional learning and instructional coaching. Skill in utilizing district instructional resources and diverse pedagogical methods to support Emergent Bilingual students. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects independently and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across district and campus teams.
