Assembly Worker

The Assembly worker plays a critical role in preparing modular automation components for safe, accurate, and damagefree shipment. Packaging Associates build custom pallets, crate assemblies, and secure aluminum extrusions using a variety of tools and equipment while following strict quality and safety standards.

• Build custom pallets and crates using power tools such as drills, sawzalls, nail guns, and dualbevel miter saws.
• Measure and cut wood accurately to create secure packaging solutions for conveyors, extrusions, and assembly kits.
• Package aluminum extrusions into ReddiCrates and prepare kit orders according to customer specifications.
• Understand and execute specialized packaging requirements, including "white glove" and "west coast" packaging standards.
• Use strapping tools and strapping machines to secure products safely for transport.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials, load trucks, and stage outbound shipments.
• Scan products and follow all digital workflow processes to ensure accurate order tracking.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S workplace organization standards.
• Work efficiently to meet daily packaging deadlines while ensuring highquality workmanship.
• Communicate with management, ask questions when needed, and provide feedback to improve packaging processes.
• Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE (steeltoe shoes, uniform), and support a safe working environment.

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work with tools for extended periods.
• Comfortable operating power tools and materialhandling equipment.
• Basic carpentry skills and the ability to make precise measurements and cuts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a full 40hour schedule.
