Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients across all age groups, using evidence-based cardiopulmonary techniques.
- Manage ventilator support, airway clearance, aerosolized therapies, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation as ordered.
- Assess patient status, monitor clinical data, and adjust therapy per physician orders; document care and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines; ensure accurate charting and adherence to infection control standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, perform routine calibrations, and educate patients and families on therapies and devices.
- Respond to respiratory distress and participate in interdisciplinary interventions as needed to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Current registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required upon submission
- Current Oregon Respiratory Care License required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS required
- Two years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital short-term acute care setting; eligible for travel assignment; rotating weekends as needed
