About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide (Weekend) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of medications, treatments, and other medical procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This is a full-time position, working weekends, and requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of medications, treatments, and other medical procedures as directed by licensed nursing staff
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement resident care plans
• Demonstrate a commitment to resident-centered care and respect for residents' dignity and autonomy

Requirements

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Texas
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
