Job Title: Medical Device Assembler

Shifts Available:

• Monday- Friday 4am- 2pm
• Monday- Friday 2pm- Midnight

Pay: $22-24/hr

Job Description

This role involves the production of high-quality medical devices primarily in a clean room environment. The position includes responsibilities such as the formulation of polymers, spray coating formulations, and the operation of various equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update relevant job documentation for traceability.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
• Inspect products using a microscope.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs.
• Set up coating machines and perform coating, inspecting, and folding of balloon catheters.
• Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations and test them.
• Package both sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
• Identify supplies that need replenishment.
• Build components needed for top-level work orders.
• Complete required cleaning activities.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Comfortable standing for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Comfortable working with chemicals.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience in the medical device industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with microscope inspection is preferred.
• Familiarity with the cleanroom and gowning/de-gowning processes.

Work Environment

This position is based in a cleanroom environment. Employees enjoy a unique break schedule, including one 30-minute off-the-clock lunch break and one 30-minute on-the-clock break. The role requires standing for the entire shift and might involve weekend hours due to the high demand and busy schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Irvine,CA.
