Position Details

Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a critical access facility located in City, State . This position involves both day and night shifts, requiring a commitment to working in a challenging and rewarding healthcare environment.

Shift Schedule

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Essential Requirements

• Must possess a current state CNA license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Float between units is not required; however, on-call duties are expected depending on census, once per pay period.
• Weekend work is necessary, with every other weekend required.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions.
• Assist with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient environments.
• Apply isolation precautions and proper body mechanics.

Team Collaboration

The successful candidate will work closely with an interdisciplinary support team, including:

Patient Demographics

Typical patient diagnoses include but are not limited to:

• CHF/CAD
• Stroke
• Pneumonia
• COPD
• Diabetes
• Alcohol Withdrawal
• Dementia
• Orthopedic Surgical Cases

Travel Requirements

Travel experience is required for this position, and candidates should have an understanding of patient care dynamics in various settings. It is expected that travelers may need to float between nearby facilities as necessary.
