What You’ll Do Develop individualized patient treatment plans consistent with institutional protocols and evidence‑based oncology practices Provide comprehensive care for patients with lymphoma and related hematologic malignancies across the continuum of treatment Coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment planning, disease monitoring, and modifications to care plans as clinically indicated Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease progression, and supportive care needs Participate in the advancement of innovative therapeutic approaches for hematologic malignancies and investigational treatment strategies Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across hematologic oncology, bone marrow transplantation, infectious diseases, pulmonary medicine, pathology, radiation oncology, and supportive care services Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical outcomes development, and patient‑centered care strategies Participate in resident, fellow, medical student, and trainee education through lectures, mentorship, and clinical teaching Support the academic mission through committee participation, scholarly engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards Foster a culture of collaboration, compassion, scientific excellence, and continuous improvement aligned with High Reliability Organization principles About The Department The Hematologic Oncology and Lymphoma programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center are nationally recognized for advancing innovative therapies, translational research, and multidisciplinary cancer care. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases. Education and Experience Medical Doctor degree and prior full‑time experience in the field of Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases. Note Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
