Registered Dietitian (RD)

We are seeking a Chief Clinical Dietitian (RD) to lead nutritional care in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing and monitoring residents' nutritional status, developing care plans, and providing recommendations to medical staff. Evaluating residents' needs related to nutrition support, skin integrity, and weight management. Coordinating procurement of nutrition supplies and oral supplements with vendors and departments. Overseeing meal service to ensure adherence to diet modifications and educating residents, families, and staff on nutrition concepts. Reviewing and updating dietary care plans for effectiveness and compliance with regulations. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and Speech-Language Pathologists to provide appropriate diets for residents with dysphagia. Ensuring menu changes follow policies and guidelines, updating diet orders in software daily, and supervising dietary staff. Conducting routine audits to ensure quality nutrition care and regulatory compliance, including weight monitoring protocols. Maintaining clear communication with team members to deliver high-quality resident care. Qualifications Include Registered Dietitian credential. Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Knowledge of state and federal nutrition guidelines. Proficiency with EMR and computer-based menu systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
