Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design EngineerItasca,IL$30-$40/hr depending on experienceWe’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to develop complex mechanical systems.ResponsibilitiesCreate preliminary and final designs, drawings, and BOMsManage projects and meet key milestones on timeCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and vendorsTroubleshoot design/manufacturing issues and lead root-cause solutionsSupport continuous improvement and new product developmentOccasional domestic/international travelRequirementsStrong mechanical design skillsProficiency in SolidWorks (or similar) and AutoCADStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to produce accurate, first-time-right designsProficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook and ERP systemsPreferredStrong customer relationsTeam-oriented mindsetSolid time-management skillsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
