Your Role as a Senior Speech Language Pathologist

Your impactful journey will include:

  • Delivering direct care to patients and fostering meaningful relationships by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to facilitate recovery.
  • Contributing to speech language in-service education and our student program for speech language pathologists.
  • Mentoring and training new team members and collaborating with other departments as necessary.
  • Overseeing and guiding speech therapy assistants and technicians.
  • Celebrating patient achievements throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure or certification as mandated by state regulations.
  • Successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in speech language pathology.
  • Active participation in the Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or possession of specialty professional certifications.
Licensure or Certification
  • Must hold a current state license in Speech Therapy.
  • Completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
  • BLS (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of starting this role.
