Quality Inspector – Manufacturing

Location: Henderson, CO
Schedule: Onsite role; schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $33/hour maximum pay rate

Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts and products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. The ideal candidate brings robust experience in manufacturing quality processes, metrology, and auditing. Education/Experience:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience/training required
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality processes required

Key Responsibilities:

• Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting company specifications
• Analyze and interpret blueprints, standards, test data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications and inspection/testing procedures
• Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and installations to ensure compliance with specifications
• Record critical inspection and test data (e.g., weights, measurements, grades, moisture content, and quantities)
• Mark or tag items with relevant acceptance or rejection status
• Measure product dimensions and verify conformance to required specifications using tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauges
• Analyze test results and computations to determine compliance
• Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel to communicate issues and assist in corrective action
• Monitor production operations and equipment for compliance and suggest or order necessary adjustments
• Support project-based activities: aid implementation of new quality processes, participate in pilot runs, and document improvements

Additional Information:

• Formal education is valuable, but hands-on manufacturing quality experience, strong metrology knowledge, and auditing experience are prioritized
• Daily tasks include reviewing products, quality audits, following work instructions, using proper tools, inspecting inventory, scrapping nonconforming parts, and working closely with operations and warehouse teams
