Senior Project Estimator for Construction Company

Job Description Job Description - BILINGUAL (English & Spanish) - able to fluently communicate verbally and in writing. *** IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY! *** The Senior Project Estimator is responsible for leading the estimating department and managing a team of estimators and installers to prepare accurate, competitive, and timely project cost estimates and manage installation team. This role oversees all phases of the estimating process, including quantity takeoffs, subcontractor/vendor pricing, bid analysis, budgeting, and proposal preparation. The Senior Project Estimator works closely with project managers, executives, clients, subcontractors, and operations teams to support successful project execution and company growth. - Experience in the Construction industry is required. - Experience in Glass Windows and Doors is a BIG PLUS! - Able to create Estimates/Proposals, Invoices and PO's on QUICKBOOKS based on costs of labor, materials, equipment and shipping. - Attend walk-in clients that are requesting quotes on windows and doors. - Maintain pre-bid documentation. - Perform contract reviews to ensure correct scope of work. - Communicate by phone AND email to follow up with clients about their projects and pending estimate approvals. - Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to ensure correct lead times and material arrivals. - Communicate and follow up with clients on deposit payments and/or final payments due. - Other duties as assigned!
