Responsibilities:
- Develop new business through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and other sales opportunities.
- Meet with prospective and existing customers to identify their insurance and financial service needs.
- Provide insurance quotes and explain available coverage options.
- Recommend appropriate auto, home, renters, life, health, and other insurance products.
- Follow up with prospects and customers to build relationships and close sales.
- Work toward individual and agency sales goals.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products to existing
- Maintain required insurance licenses and complete ongoing training.
- Follow agency procedures and applicable insurance regulations.
- Work closely with other team members to help the agency achieve its overall goals.
- Maintain accurate customer information and document sales activities.
- Assist customers with policy questions and coverage changes when needed.
- Provide friendly, professional, and timely customer service.
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage referrals.
- Stay knowledgeable about State Farm products, services, and available coverage options.
- Must obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty insurance license within 30 days of employment .
- Must obtain and maintain a Life & Health insurance license within 60 days of employment .
