Job Description: Housekeeping AttendantThe Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms.Required Skills and RequisitesService orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey information and ideas.Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Responsibilities and DutiesObtain room assignments from your Supervisor at the beginning of the shift.Check your cart to make sure it is correctly stocked.Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room.Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms so nothing is missed.Check room for damaged furniture and equipment.Notify Housekeeping that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant.Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor.At Palette Hotels, we are dedicated to creating and sustaining meaningful hospitality careers for our associates.
