Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary Sam’s Club #6267 1117 West I‑35 Frontage Road, Edmond, OK 73034‑0000. Our merchandising & stocking associates keep the store organized, ensuring members find everything on their shopping list. Duties include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders, and stocking shelves. The role is physically demanding and fast‑paced. What You’ll Do Promptly unload trucks and assist with club pick‑up orders. Assist fellow associates throughout the store. Sort, stock, arrange, and organize merchandise on shelves and in the backroom. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and guiding them through self‑service technology. Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, and report unsafe situations. Ensure product rotation, code dating, and sanitation standards are met. Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all activities. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to physically lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Good communication skills and a customer‑service orientation. Adaptable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous retail or warehouse experience. Knowledge of safety and stocking procedures. Ability to operate a pallet jack or forklift (certification optional). Experience with MS Office or similar computer systems. Benefits Competitive hourly wage ($17.00 to $25.00).
