At Our Dental, hygienists have a minimum of 1 hour for routine patient care, Thu-Fri instruments, power scaling (piezo and/or cavitron) along with state of art dental office, and an amazing team environment.To be successful you should exhibit the following traits:Value hard work and be motivated, ambitious and reliable.Appreciate the value of teamwork and the contributions of each team member.Be compassionate and caring in your interactions with both patients and staff.Endeavor to do the right thing in every situation.Commitment to our standard of careResponsibilities Include:Screening patients during checkupsReviewing patient’s dental historyRecommend care to improve a patient’s oral healthTeach patients about proper teeth cleaning techniquesIdentify conditions such as gingivitis or periodontitisPerform preventive dental careApply fluoride treatmentsTake x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseasesRequirements:In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)Outstanding communication skillsA patient and friendly personalityStamina to meet the physical demands of the jobDiploma in Dental Hygiene; advance training on instrumentation and/or bachelors degree a plusValid license to practice
