Associate Practice Manager – Oak Street HealthThe purpose of an Associate Practice Manager is to lead and manage operations at a single primary care clinic location, supporting clinical and non‑clinical teams, driving patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operation. Core Responsibilities Staff Management and Development Hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and manage a multi‑disciplinary team of 15+. Ensure the center is a Great Place to Work by building a culture of engagement and demonstrating the values and service behaviors at all times. Clinic Operations Maintain daily clinic operations, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage, following all SOPs, and providing an unmatched patient experience. Drive results for patients in Oak Street Health’s care model by ensuring standard meetings, huddles and preventive care best practices are followed. Support the clinical and service teams in achieving patient experience, clinical outcomes, and team member experience metrics. Lead the implementation of in‑clinic operational initiatives, including training the team on new workflows. Ensure efficient patient scheduling processes. Oversee clinical and community areas, handling building‑related issues in partnership with Facilities and acting as the point of contact for alarm monitoring. Use Oak Street Health’s proprietary software, reporting systems, and EMR to monitor task completion. Leadership and Community Engagement Partner with the Center Medical Director and Associate Outreach Manager to lead the center as a triad, making collaborative decisions that support patient and team interests and drive profitability. Other duties as assigned. This role reports to the Lead Director, Regional Operations or Executive Director, Regional Center Leadership (depending on location) and offers advancement opportunities. Required Experience 2 or more years of supervisory experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings. Proficient PC skills. US work authorization. Preferred Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting. Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by the communities served. Experience driving teams toward achievement of metrics. Experience with Google Suite. Supportive attitude toward older adult patient population. Discretion in handling confidential information. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 – $102,000.00. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay.
