Region.  U.S. News & World Report  has just released the 2023-2024 ratings and rankings, in which GW Hospital is recognized as a  Best Regional Hospital . GW Hospital achieved "High Performing" status in two specialty areas, Neurology and Neuroscience.

Summary:

Prepares tissue specimens for diagnosis by Pathologist. Works with Pathology residents, fellows and attendings to meet the needs of the clinicians and patients.

Qualification:

• A Bachelor's degree in applied clinical science with a course in Histology or an equivalent of training and experience is necessary.
• Two years experience in a Histology laboratory is desirable.
• Certification or eligibility for certification as Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
