Responsibilities

Their primary responsibility is to evaluate a client's risk profile, help them select the most appropriate coverage, process policy applications, manage renewals, and assist with filing and resolving insurance claims

Requirements

To become an insurance agent, you must be at least 18 years old, pass a state-specific background check, complete mandatory pre-licensing coursework, and pass your state’s licensing exams for your specific line of authority.
