Safety Technician

Key Requirements:
- Visits job sites to conduct safety inspections on personnel practices, equipment, and job sites. (some travel required)
- Respond, investigate, and document incidents at job sites
- Research and understand applicability of safety requirements to assure all staff are in compliance with safety regulations of the applicable industry
- Maintain knowledge of all existing and future compliance laws and regulations
- Assist in Check-ins and safety meetings
- Distribute required PPE to staff when needed throughout the day
- Respond immediately to reports of unsafe conditions and take appropriate actions to rectify the situation
- Complete injury paperwork & transport workers to clinic for injuries and drug screen
- Must have 1-2 years safety field experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing and/or maritime environments
- Proficient organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Shifts:
- 5:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday - Friday (Depends on scheduled jobs)
- Weekends as needed
- Temp to Perm
