- Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using evidence-based evaluations and observational methods.
- Create individualized treatment strategies focused on both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Conduct personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, voice production, and swallowing capabilities.
- Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to develop integrated care plans.
- Educate patients and family members to foster progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure continuous care throughout the therapeutic process.
- Document interventions promptly and accurately, adhering to compliance regulations.
- Commit to lifelong learning by engaging in professional development and peer interactions.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be achieved within 30 days of hire.
- Expertise with evidence-based treatment modalities for various age groups, alongside a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired communication disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate communication with patients, families, and the collaborative healthcare team.
- Capability to tailor therapeutic approaches to cater to varying cultural and linguistic contexts.
- Strong clinical acumen and the ability to address complex problem areas efficiently.
