Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a busy cardiac lab requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab experience, Cerner proficiency, and STEMI call availability.

Details

• Acute care setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab performing 15-20 procedures per day
• Wide variety of procedures including peripheral vascular intervention, cardiac intervention, and cardiac rhythm management including EP
• Four ten-hour day shifts, 6a-4:30p when not on call
• On-call rotation of 7a-5:30p on call days, occurring every 4 weekends
• Schedule runs on a six-week rotation with a built-in four-day weekend
• On-call coverage is one night per week until the call day falls on a Friday, at which point call covers the weekend
• Uses Cerner as the EMR

Requirements

• Active IN RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• EP experience preferred but not required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Cerner charting experience required

Additional Information

• Required to take STEMI call and show flexibility to help cover extra call shifts as needed
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Two Cath Lab RN positions needed urgently
• Radius rule of 100 miles applies; candidates within 50 miles will not be accepted, and those within 50-100 miles considered at a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates not accepted
