We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement efforts, manage supplier relationships, oversee inventory planning, and ensure the availability of materials necessary to support our production operations. Key Responsibilities

- Source and purchase raw materials, fabrication components, manufacturing supplies, and outsourced services to meet production needs

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliable delivery schedules

- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement activities to optimize stock levels and reduce waste

- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to understand material requirements and specifications

- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions

- Track and analyze procurement metrics to improve processes and supplier performance

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations in all purchasing activities

- Stay informed about market trends, new materials, and technological advancements relevant to metal fabrication and manufacturing

Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial environment

- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining, and metal manufacturing processes

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

- Ability to analyze market data and make strategic purchasing decisions

- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing procurement

• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, metal manufacturing, machining, industrial manufacturing, or a similar environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in a custom fabrication or job shop environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control and production planning.
