Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Shift: Rotating start times between 8am-11am, PACU end time 8:30pm, 36 hours per week (9-hour shift)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse experienced in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide critical care in an acute hospital setting. The role involves flexible scheduling within day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for post-operative patients in the PACU.
• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Administer medications and adjust treatments according to a patient's condition.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and manage patient transfers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of acute care hospital experience.
• Completion of at least one travel contract.
• Passed EKG test with 80% or higher.
• Critical Care PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Illinois Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
