Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical (MS) Rehabilitation Floor nurse position is located in Independence, Missouri. The role involves providing specialized care within a well-maintained rehab unit featuring private rooms and new equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-quality environment with experienced staff and modern facilities.

• Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification, Nursing license (must be presented on the first day), inpatient acute rehab experience, familiarity with FIM (Functional Independence Measure) and CARE (Continuity Assessment Record and Evaluation) Tool measures, Med/Surg nursing experience, Meditech (EMR) version 5.6 skills, no minimum experience required, Missouri nursing license, valid BLS certification, 0 years of minimum experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FIM and CARE Tool measures, recent Meditech EMR experience
• Additional Information:
  • Unit type: Rehab Center
  • Certification requirements: BLS
  • Knowledge of procedures such as wound care, line insertion, blood and antibiotic administration is preferred but not required.
  • Well-kept rehab unit with all private rooms, new equipment, and all rooms set up as Rehab Suites.
  • One-week orientation included in the contract to ensure high-quality care.
  • Current staff on the unit have 4 or more years of RN experience.
  • Block schedule options available upon request.
