Quick Facts Location: 49 Forest Road, Kiryas Joel, NY 10950 Start Date: 07/06/2026 End Date: 10/05/2026 Shift: 1 hospital call shift per week (24 hours), plus two 8-hour clinic days (Monday-Friday) Hours/week: 40 hours (approximate) Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem License/Certs: NY Medical License, Board Certification in OB/GYN, DEA required Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in OB/GYN practice preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $222.30/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick leave in accordance with law 24/7 dedicated support team at VHS What You’ll Do Provide OB/GYN care for a diverse patient population, primarily teenagers and adults Support obstetric deliveries, with approximately 1,500 deliveries annually Conduct outpatient clinics and perform onsite ultrasounds Attend 24-hour hospital call shifts, supporting patients in labor and delivery Collaborate with midwives and support staff in a multidisciplinary team Document patient encounters using eClinicalWorks EMR system Participate in patient education and follow-up care What You Need Active New York State Medical License Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC required; BE not accepted) DEA license 3 years of OB/GYN clinical experience Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Willingness to perform hospital deliveries and outpatient clinics About the Assignment This assignment is at a community health center with a focus on providing comprehensive OB/GYN care. The facility supports a busy obstetric service with onsite ultrasound and accommodations for staff to stay onsite during 24-hour call shifts. The patient population is mainly teenagers and adults, with a high volume of deliveries and outpatient visits.
