Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary: Provide critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department, managing diverse patient conditions across all age groups. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer emergency treatments and medications, including pressors, sedatives, and anti-arrhythmics.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and assess patients continuously using advanced ED equipment to detect changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Epic EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility in a dynamic setting.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including licensure, vaccinations, and certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid NY RN license with active registration verification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate 2+ years of recent ED experience, including pediatric care.
  
  
• 
  Hold current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
  
  
• 
  Have proficiency in Epic EMR or similar electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Maintain valid drivers license with address matching demographics.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical judgment and ability to handle complex emergency cases.
