Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Thermal Power Engineer . Reporting to the Energy group, you will support offices globally working from our Tampa, FL office location.

Qualifications:

• Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Work with senior engineering personnel and fellow design engineers to create solutions that create positive change
• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Actively participate in the creation of the deliverables, technical reports, and presentations to clients
• Engage with clients directly and take on project responsibility
• Gain valuable on-site practical experience

You bring to the role:

• Willingness to travel and work onsite (including remote locations)
• Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset

• Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
