Nurse Practitioner Position

This temp-to-perm nurse practitioner position offers a 13-week contract at a rural health clinic in Garberville, CA, with competitive weekly compensation up to $5,600 and flexible scheduling. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting.
• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active California Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility for reciprocity).
• Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or other relevant specialty).
• DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.
