Buchanan Kia is seeking an experienced service technician to join our team in Westminster, MD. In this role, you will use your expertise to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow technicians and service advisors to deliver top-quality service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive issues efficiently and accurately
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and assess vehicle performance
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or automotive mechanic
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools
• ASE certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid drivers license
