--- Project Description ---
The agency has a number of clinics, hospitals and outpatient facilities.
The candidate will be responsible for managing projects related to
updating and/or implementing new systems, software, and hardware.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Use project management tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project
and Visio to allocate assignments, track project status and determine
time estimates.
2. Use project management methodology and documentation to manage
the project. Plan and facilitiate all required project and technical
meetings including demonstrations of application development
progress.
3. Provide regular status reports detailing project metrics, progress, and
mitigation strategies underway to address concerns.
4. Partner with Business Analyst to ensure the business requirements are
elicited from Business owners and key stakeholders.
5. Ensure requirements are communicated, documented, addressed and
if approved, included in future project plans.
6. Coordinate the development of test plans and testing with the Project
Technical Lead.
7. Act as facilitator and primary project manager for multiple projects
related to the OMH Business efforts; including projects related to
implementation of applications or infrastructure changes. Report status
of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Adherre to all
NYS Project Management directives and processes.

--- Required Qualifications ---
• 48 Months Project Management experience leading projects with direct
stakeholder involvement at state government director level and above.
• 36 months of experience managing AI-related projects, engaging with vendors
such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
• 36 Months Experience managing projects with Application Programming
Interfaces (API), and other interfaces that send and receive data between
systems.
• 24 months of experience facilitating requirement sessions, ensuring
requirements are effectively communicated and successfully met.
• Bachelor's Degree
• 84 Months Experience managing projects from initiation through closeout
maintaining project budgets, schedules, scope requirements, status reports,
communication plans, and quality standards.
• 84 Months Experience as a project manager working as a liaison between
Requesting Entity (i.e. Government Agency or Private Company) and Vendors
from requirements gathering through implementation.
• 60 months of experience in technical requirement gathering for the integration
of central server and facility systems, including networking, in collaboration
with architecture and infrastructure teams.
• Project Management Professional Certification
