OB Tech - Labor & Delivery - Days

Hourly Pay Range $24.86 - $37.29 — The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: OB Tech Location: Naperville, IL Schedule: Full Time Hours: Days 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (rotating weekends and rotating holidays as needed) Required Travel: No What You Will Do Assists surgical team preparing for, during, and after surgery. Prepares operating room for surgery. Acts as scrub person during surgery by performing tasks directed by the surgical team. Under general supervision of a Registered Nurse and according to established procedures, performs multiple patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for care, comfort, and safety of patients. What You Need Education: High School diploma or GED. Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited course or at least six months of prior patient‑care experience, or completion of one nursing clinical rotation and current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association. Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and ability to receive and follow directions. Required to attend in‑depth orientation regarding patient‑care skill tasks. Successful completion of the OB Technician Scrub Class offered by the OB department. Preferred: Prior operating‑room experience.
