Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is actively hiring experienced CDL-A Propane Drivers based in Port Huron, Michigan , with the opportunity to operate our specialized 160,000 lb. multi-axle Jumbo propane transports .

This isn't a standard tanker driving job. As a member of our Propane Division, you'll haul year-round freight while working with specialized equipment and a company that has been trusted by customers and drivers for more than 40 years .

CompensationAverage Gross Weekly Earnings: $1,300–$2,500+

• $0.70–$0.75 CPM, based on experience
• Paid loading & unloading (per-gallon pumping pay)

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized propane transport equipment
• Transport propane (UN1075) throughout Michigan and surrounding regional service areas
• Safely load and unload propane using pumping equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete ELDs and shipping documentation
• Maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipment
• Deliver professional customer service while maintaining DHT's safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required — drivers holding the combined X endorsement are encouraged to apply
• Minimum one to two years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Experience hauling propane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities strongly preferred but not required
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to safely work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
