We’re Dill Daddy Pickles, a family-owned pickle company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We’re growing fast and looking for a dedicated team member to help us keep up with demand. If you’re dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working around hot kitchen equipment, this role could be a great fit.

Position Overview
As a Pickle Production Associate, you’ll work directly in our manufacturing area. You must be able to stand on your feet for eight hours straight and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a more permanent role as we expand.

Schedule

Part-time, typically Tuesday through Thursday
8 AM – 3 PM

Key Responsibilities

Hand-pack fresh pickles, beans, and other products according to company standards
Operate and monitor hot kitchen equipment (tilt skillet, pasteurization kettle, etc.) safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, following all food safety and sanitation protocols
Assist with ingredient prep (washing, cutting, seasoning) as needed
Ensure quality control by checking jars for correct fill levels, seals, and labeling
Help load and unload ingredients and finished products (lifting up to 40 lbs)

Requirements

Ability to stand for eight hours straight in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Comfortable working around steam, boiling water, and hot equipment
Reliable transportation and, ideally, previous food production or kitchen experience
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs without issue
Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
