Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients with various medical conditions. This role requires a strong capability to handle a high patient turnover while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care for a caseload of 1:6.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and perform NG tube insertions.
• Conduct EKGs and administer heparin drips as required.
• Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, with at least 1 travel assignment completed.
• Current RN license.
• Certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS required.
