Data Science and Business Analytics Manager

Abbott seeks a Data Science and Business Analytics Manager to lead analytics initiatives within its Diabetes Care Division in Alameda, California. Responsibilities
- Design and develop statistical and machine learning models to drive analytical solutions
- Conduct quantitative analyses on large datasets including prescription and claims data
- Build automated dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and forecast revenue
- Interpret data trends and present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align on business objectives and deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 9 years of related work experience in data science or analytics
- 5+ years commercial or market analytics experience, preferably healthcare
- Proficiency in machine learning for clustering and classification problems
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with data warehouse environments
- Expertise in statistical methods, causal inference, and time series analysis
- Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences
