Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The ideal candidate will have a Washington license in hand and be prepared to provide high-quality respiratory care across various units in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call Requirement: No
Block Scheduling: Yes

Key Responsibilities

Deliver floor care and respond to emergencies in the Emergency Room
Participate in code response and rapid response situations
Provide care across various age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Ensure accurate documentation using the Epic charting system

Qualifications

Licensing: Washington Respiratory Therapy License required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; previous charge experience is not required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT required
Skills:
- Aerosol therapy setup and administration
- Management of mechanical ventilation and troubleshooting alarms
- Extubation and tracheostomy care
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Familiarity with pediatric care preferred

This facility is a Short-Term Acute Care hospital with a total of 629 staffed beds. It offers Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma services and serves as a teaching hospital equipped with advanced medical technologies.
