Multi‑Axis CNC Turning Machinist

In this role, you’ll take ownership of parts from setup through final inspection—balancing quality, speed, and safety every step of the way.

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance parts.
• Decode blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs to plan cutting strategies.
• Choose and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories.
• Control process variables—feeds, speeds, offsets—to maintain specification.
• Verify results using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability and uptime.
• Follow manufacturing principles, safety practices, and company policies without compromise.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience running CNC lathes; multi-axis experience is a plus.
• Comfort with hand tools and precision measurement techniques.
• Fluency in G and M codes with the ability to make on-the-fly adjustments.
• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a craftsmanship mindset.
• Safe, efficient materials handling for loading and unloading parts.
• Knowledge of GD&T and how it drives manufacturing decisions.
• Resourceful problem-solver able to troubleshoot machines and processes.
• Proficiency in aerospace manufacturing.

As a CNC Operator, you’ll consistently meet manufacturing, safety, and policy requirements.

Work with CNC Lathe platforms (5+ axis), including Mazak, Eurotech, Miyano, and Nakamura.
