Mental Health CoordinatorIn this role, the Mental Health Coordinator is responsible for planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature. The successful candidate will conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews. They will provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans tailored to inmates' needs and levels of functioning. Documentation of treatment and evaluation activities will be maintained in the health care record for each individual seen. The coordinator maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times. A thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques should be demonstrated through the treatments and activities used for individuals within the caseload. Appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions will be provided to effectively address the needs of inmates.
