About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg/Tele, Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 4+ years of recent acute care experience, some experience in stepdown needed for Night shift License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have 1 recent successful travel contract - Must be able to independently read telemetry strips and pass on-site exam on Day 1 with an 84% or better (2 attempts) - Psych experience highly preferred - Strongly prefer EPIC experience Description: Shifts are 12 hours, days from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekends and holidays are required on an every other basis. Candidates who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered local. No more than 5 days of requested time off can be submitted. Strong adaptability to different units is necessary. Experience in telemetry and Meditech IVs is required. Preferred experience includes 5+ years of previous float experience. The departments involved include various medical and surgical specialties. The average patient ratio is 5:1.
