Desired experience and qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
• Previous experience working in school-based environments is preferred
• Strong knowledge of therapy protocols for children and adolescents
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for working collaboratively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort providing both direct and consultative services across a broad range of ages and developmental levels
• Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential, supporting their academic and daily living success

Key responsibilities:

• Perform assessments, develop treatment goals, and implement individualized therapy plans for students from transitional kindergarten to 12th grade
• Deliver occupational therapy services both individually and in small groups, adapting strategies to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student participation and engagement in the classroom
• Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Attend IEP meetings, providing expert input and advocating for students’ therapy needs
