Job Description

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting daily operational management and contributing to strategic planning efforts. Overseeing a medium-sized team of 6-15 members, the Assistant Manager ensures sales targets are met while fostering excellent customer engagement and maintaining smooth store operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of 6-15 staff members
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and engagement
  • Manage inventory control and stock levels
  • Support sales initiatives and help achieve sales targets
  • Train and develop staff to enhance team performance
  • Create and manage employee schedules efficiently
  • Prepare operational and sales reports
  • Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail or business management
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Time management expertise
