The MRI Tech produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. \n MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI \n PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate degree in Allied Health or Bachelor’s Degree and certification in another clinical imaging field \n MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical experience.Possesses working knowledge of cross section anatomy and MR pathology. \n PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in MRI \n REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or (ARMRIT) registry eligible according to ACR guidelines. Must be registered as a MR Technologist within one year post graduation of accredited school.
