We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Beals, Maine. In this role, you will work with patients to assess their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, and create customized treatment plans to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting patients' recovery and enhancing their daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and long-term recovery strategies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Maine
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Flexibility to treat a wide range of conditions and patients of all ages
