Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.The principal objective of the Clinical Education Specialist I is to train surgeon customers and the sales force on the Imaging, Navigation and Robotics product lines based on customer needs to improve patient outcomes. This includes both Spine applications. Core job responsibilities will also include conducting continuing clinical education and product training for the field-based support teams as well as corporate-based employees and assisting with customer activities in the field. This requires knowledge of the operating room and working within a team to support selling and training activities.Essential Functions:Deliver training for surgeons, OR staff, and Globus field sales and clinical teams both in-market and at Globus lab locations for the Excelsius Spine applicationConduct welcome calls with sales team to determine new surgeon customer's goals, establish appropriate timelines, and facilitate understanding of the training process post-sale of the Excelsius platform at their accountMaintain product knowledge and contribute to training program improvementsProvides educational support for new surgeons, OR staff and administrators during INR system installationsParticipates in the Train-the-Trainer process and act as a best-practice coach to Globus field team membersConduct routine case observations in the field to foster continued clinical acumenMonitor team email account to assist sales team with scheduling of surgeon trainingSupport Clinical Education Specialist III, Sr. Clinical Education Specialist, and Clinical Education Manager as needed.Maintain training logs, compliance documents and usage reportsAnswer surgeon's questionsAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesPerforms other duties as assignedReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years' clinical support or relevant experience in the healthcare industry, spine, cranial, and/or navigation and robotics experience is a plusPossess a passion for training and educationStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including, but not limited to the ability to work with cross-functional teamsAttention to detailStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to learn complex technical and clinical information quicklyComfortable in surgical or high-pressure environmentsAbility to travel up to 60% of the time and works occasional SaturdaysPhysical Demands:Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsRequired to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focusOur Values :Passionate About Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
