Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer – IBM BPM
Location: Charlotte, NC (5 days onsite/week)
Experience: 12+ Years
Work Type: Contract
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong IBM BPM expertise to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development, enterprise integration, and IBM BPM/BPMN-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE and IBM BPM .
- Develop and support business process workflows using IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) .
- Build and integrate REST/SOAP web services and backend APIs.
- Work with Spring/Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS , and related full-stack technologies.
- Develop and optimize database queries and work with relational databases.
- Participate in application design, development, testing, debugging, and production support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex application and workflow issues and provide effective solutions.
- Follow enterprise coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of professional IT experience .
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE .
- Extensive experience with IBM BPM / IBM Business Automation Workflow .
- Strong understanding of BPMN, process modeling, workflows, and business process integration .
- Experience with Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, SOAP, and microservices .
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases .
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS .
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with enterprise application integration and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in large-scale financial or enterprise applications is a plus
